Cindy obtained both her Bachelor's and Master's degree from EMU's nursing program. Having worked in the same organization for 40 plus years, it was important to Cindy to obtain her education at another institution. One reason Cindy enjoys teaching at EMU is the various organizations and expertise the students bring to the classroom. Cindy's nursing experience has been primarily taking care of cardiac patients. Her most recent experience has been in Cardiac Rehab, providing management and leadership oversight for the last 18 years. One of Cindy's goals in teaching Leadership and Management is to turn "book knowledge" into practical application.
Cindy is married and has 2 adult children and 7 grandchildren. She enjoys being a grandma, the outdoors, reading and taking adventurous trips. Cindy is also a health transformation coach.
