With experience in higher education, non-profit, and church leadership, Dr. Lebo brings a well-rounded perspective to his role as Director of LOM at EMU-Lancaster. As an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church, he has served in a variety of local church contexts in Philadelphia, Chester County, and Lebanon County. In addition to his experience in local church ministry, he has also served as Chaplain and Coordinator of Spiritual Life at Lebanon Valley College and was the Executive Director of a non-profit Camp and Retreat Center in Chester County, PA.
In 2020, Dr. Lebo completed his PhD in Organizational Leadership at Alvernia University with a concentration in Community Leadership. His dissertation focused on understanding contributing factors of burnout in a United Methodist Clergy population. This highlights his research interests in mental health and sustainability in leadership, systems leadership, and civic engagement. He has served as adjunct faculty at multiple institutions including Lebanon Valley College and Lancaster Theological Seminary.
Dan is married to his wife, Becca and they have three children together. Dan enjoys being a gymnastics and dance dad and supporting his kids in whatever activities they get involved with. He loves spending time at the lake, swimming in the pool, and golfing.
