Kandace DaCosta

Currently practicting school counselor with a demonstrated history of experience in the secondary education field and graduate level collegiate instruction. Strong community and social services professional with a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) focused in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University. 

My mission as a professor is to ensure a safe and collaborative environment for students to share, stretch, and grow. As a practicing school counselor with over 13 years of experience, my objective is to make real-world connections with what is currently impacting schools, students, staff, and our communities. Additionally, my goal is to equip EMU students with practical tools, strategies, and resources to help them to be an effective and impactful educator and a strong school and community partner.
