Robert Altenburg currently serves as the Senior Director for Energy and Climate at the nonprofit environmental organization Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future (PennFuture). He previously spent 22 years with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in the Bureau of Air Quality and the Policy Office as well as serving in the U.S. Army Reserve where he commanded a Combat Engineer Company. He has a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from Clarion University and a Juris Doctor from Widener Commonwealth School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and before the United States Supreme Court. Rob also volunteers as a squadron commander, legal officer, and mission pilot with the Civil Air Patrol, serves on the board of directors for the Keystone Trails Association, and is active in Rotary International.
