Peggy Shenk

For most of her EMU career, Shenk served as assistant to three presidents—Myron Augsburger, Richard Detweiler and Joe Lapp. In this role, she was a facilitator, friend, counselor, mediator, clearing-house, balance-wheel, mood stabilizer, ready helper, information dispenser and unending work producer. She was also corporate secretary for the Board of Trustees and secretary for the President’s Cabinet.

In retirement, she remained active at Valley View Mennonite Church, where her husband Michael was pastor for many years.
