Sara is a native of the Shenandoah Valley and has been involved with EMU since age 5 when she began studying violin in the preparatory music program. Following high school she received a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Rosedale Bible College and a B.S. in Business Administration from EMU. Sara managed a local fair trade retail store before returning to EMU to work first in the teacher education department, and later in office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness beginning in 2018. Outside of work Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, gardening, making music, being an active member of Zion Mennonite Church, and serving on the board of Highland Retreat.
