Biography

Kristin has taught ESL in several Harrisonburg settings since 2001. She taught elementary students in Harrisonburg City Public Schools (2001-2007) and adult learners in a community-based program (2008-2017). Most recently, she has taught as an adjunct instructor both at JMU’s International Study Center and EMU’s IEP. She is the rare EMU alum with no stamps in her passport but is ever-grateful to her students for broadening her world within the boundaries of Harrisonburg.
